Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Triftore ("we", "the app") collects when you use triftore.com, and how it's used.

What we collect

• Account info: when you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and name from Google via our authentication provider (Supabase).
• Photos you scan: images you upload are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for analysis (item identification, condition, and value estimate). We store the AI's text result (item name, brand, condition, estimated value) linked to your account — not the photo itself.
• IP address: used to enforce the free-tier daily scan limit, and stored alongside your scan history.
• Payment info: if you subscribe to Triftore Pro or Unlimited, payments are processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details — only your subscription status and plan.

How we use it

To run the core scanning feature, enforce usage limits, manage your subscription, and provide support if you contact us. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

• Anthropic — processes photos you submit to generate scan results.
• Supabase — hosts our database and handles authentication.
• Stripe — processes subscription payments.
• Netlify — hosts this website.
• Google — provides the sign-in option.

Each of these providers processes data under their own privacy policies. We don't share your data with anyone else, and we don't sell it.

Data retention

We keep your scan history and account data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time (see Contact below).

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data at any time. If you're in the EU/EEA, this includes rights under the GDPR.

Cookies & local storage

We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and to track your daily free-tier scan count. We don't use third-party advertising cookies.

Age requirement

Triftore is intended for users aged 18 and over, in line with Stripe's payment terms.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
